Why does my address say "DNS pending"?

When you first create a server, the DNS record may take a few minutes to become active. Until then, the dashboard shows DNS pending.


This is normal on first create. Wait a few minutes before trying to connect.




What it means


  • Your server address (yourserver-a8f3.warp.cool) has been assigned
  • The DNS record is being created or propagating
  • You may not be able to connect yet




What to do


  1. Wait 5–15 minutes after creating the server.
  2. Refresh the server details page.
  3. Look for DNS live — once shown, you can connect (if the server is also running).




If it stays pending after 30 minutes


  • Make sure the server has been started at least once
  • Contact support with your server name and region


Do not share a raw IP address — always use your warp.cool hostname once DNS is live.
