How to connect to your server

Every server gets a permanent address like yourserver-a8f3.warp.cool — your chosen handle plus a short unique suffix.


The address never changes. Share it in Discord and bookmark it.




Before connecting


  1. Server status must be running (not starting or stopped).
  2. DNS should show live on the server details page.
  3. Copy the full address from the dashboard.

Minecraft (Java Edition)


  1. Open Minecraft Java Edition (not Bedrock).
  2. Go to Multiplayer → Add Server (or Direct Connection).
  3. Paste your full address: yourserver-a8f3.warp.cool
  4. Join.

Factorio


  1. Start the server from your Warp dashboard.
  2. Open Factorio → Multiplayer → Connect to server.
  3. Enter your yourserver-a8f3.warp.cool address.
  4. Enter the server password if you configured one.
